"Cause I'm as free as a bird now... And this bird you can not change... Lord knows, I can't change..."

First Sunrise

Matthew took the girls to the beach again this past Saturday morning. This time, it was not overcast, so they all were able to see a spectacular sunrise, which I think, was the first beach sunrise that the girls have experienced.

(These are all taken by Matthew by the way… which is most likely the case when the pictures are really good.)

Chilly Beach Morning

I’m looking forward to when I can walk long distances again (after the baby is born), so that I can go with them on these little trips. As it is, I can hardly walk two blocks without my back feeling like it’s going to snap in half. I have about a week and a half until my due date, so he could come at any time now!

Early Morning Walk on the Beach

Last Saturday morning– the morning after we found out the Bar Exam results, Matthew woke up the girls while it was still dark out, and they all drove out to the beach for a morning walk. I stayed home and slept. (o:

Here are a few pictures from that morning (don’t worry– none of me sleeping):

Exploring

Yesterday, Matthew’s new boss and his wife took us out on their boat to explore the area by water. We had an absoluteĀ blast. Here are some pictures…

Exploring the Marshes
We probably need to eventually invest in some children’s life jackets.

The whole group… except for me (I love this picture).

The wildlife hereĀ is so neat. There are manatees, pelicans, wood storks, and we even saw 2 dolphins!

I Renember Dat!

I cannot even tell you how many times we have heard R say “Ohh! I renember dat!!” over the last several days as we have been unpacking. We all, but the girls especially, have been enjoying seeing all of our things that have been packed up for the last three months.

With the amount of times we have moved in the past, it has been proved time and again, that if you pack up a toy that a child is sick of and pull it back out in a few months, you will likely never have to go toy shopping except on birthdays or other special occasions. This may work with adults as well– kind of works with me. (o:
