The girls and I went to visit my parents last week while Matthew was in D.C. Here are some pictures from our visit.
On the left are some little Pillow People, and on the right is Felix. He turned 20 this month!
Spring Break has come and gone, and now I am back to busy busy busy. We had a really nice trip down to Georgia (as many of you know because we got to see you!). (o:
There were a few days where I had some major bouts of “morning sickness” (I put it in quotes because it doesn’t occur only in the morning for me), but all in all, I have mainly just been really tired. My friend E got me some stuff to make yummy protein shakes, so I have been making those, and it seems to help with nausea and energy levels– and they taste really good.
Thank you all for the really nice congratulatory comments on the last post. We are SO excited about having a new baby, and so very very thankful to God for him or her.
We got here really late last night… I guess technically very early this morning. Paid the neighbor for feeding Oliver (the cat) and picked up Charles (the fish) from my friend’s house, and picked up Pebbles (the dog) from M’s mom’s house in Atlanta on our way back home. Everyone is finally back in one spot, and all of our belongings are sprawled out across the living room and dining room. (I’ll get that picked up tomorrow…)
Time to get back into the swing of things.
Here is another picture from our day out on Tybee Island that M couldn’t understand why I didn’t include in the last post. (o: You can see all the pictures from our trip here.
We drove out to Tybee Island today after church. The sky was clear blue when we first got there, but all within about 5 minutes a thick fog rolled in and surrounded us. So much so, that by the time we left our hair was wet and we never went into the water. We all found lots of neat shells and crabs and two live sand dollars.
We have to leave tomorrow (and I am not too happy about that), but we had a very nice last day here. This all has been a very therapeutic break for us. We all have gotten the rest that we needed to get back to the grind again. God knows that we are all but dust, and His timing is perfect.
