Yesterday, Matthew’s new boss and his wife took us out on their boat to explore the area by water. We had an absolute blast. Here are some pictures…
Spring Break has come and gone, and now I am back to busy busy busy. We had a really nice trip down to Georgia (as many of you know because we got to see you!). (o:
There were a few days where I had some major bouts of “morning sickness” (I put it in quotes because it doesn’t occur only in the morning for me), but all in all, I have mainly just been really tired. My friend E got me some stuff to make yummy protein shakes, so I have been making those, and it seems to help with nausea and energy levels– and they taste really good.
Thank you all for the really nice congratulatory comments on the last post. We are SO excited about having a new baby, and so very very thankful to God for him or her.
We went to our first Guy Fawkes Night and Bonfire last night. This is the effigy that we made. I think he turned out pretty good, but in the end, he was burned. That’s okay– maybe we’ll make another next year!
This is another effigy getting burned that some people made. He was mostly stuffed with leaves.
Along with the large family that hosted the party there were a few other law students, some people from the University, and some people from church.
The girls spent most of the night running around the yard with the younger kids. They had a blast jumping in leaves, playing games around the yard, roasting marshmellows, and eating (way too many) sweets. I think I ate too many too…
