Monica– Here’s the story. I am actually from New Hampshire, but I married a Southern man. I have been living in the South (Kentucky, Georgia, Mississippi, Virginia, and now [temporarily] Alabama) for about 7 years now. People that I know from the North say that I have a little bit of a Southern accent now, but everyone who is from the South can tell that I am from the North. I assume my “accent” is somewhere in between, but when I hear my voice I can’t detect the Southern-ness at all… unless I’m doing my impersonation of “Big Southern Red-Neck Smoker.” (o;
