The new Georgia Aquarium that opened in November is the world’s largest aquarium open to the public. The place was packed when we went and it was difficult to move from one display to the next, but it was well worth it. I think my favorites were the beluga whales and the sea otters. They seemed very intelligent and personable… kind of like some pets. Everything was really amazing to see.
We had a large crowd with us– our family of four, M’s brother’s family of four, M’s mom and her “friend” Mr. O. It was not very easy taking pictures in there since they didn’t let you use a flash, but I think I got a few good ones. I had a more difficult time getting any good clear pictures of the fish.
